Comedy ClubComedy club is a Russian TV show of live comedy that broadcasts the channel TNT since April 23, 2005. The veteran comedians of the club are Garik Martirosyan, Timur Batrutdinov, Garik Kharlamov, Pavel Volya, Alexandr Revva, Alexander Nezlobin and others. The host is Garik Martirosyan. The headquarters of Comedy Club is located in Moscow.

Little Blue LightLittle Blue Light was a popular program of musical varieties transmitted by the Soviet television from 1962 during the different holidays. The name alludes to the reflection of the blue light of a television screen, as well as some of the traditional expressions of Russia in relation to friendly visits: заглянуть на огонек (zaglyanut na ogonyok) - "to visit a light", and to visit someone after seeing a light in his window; посидеть у огонька (posidyet 'u ogon'ka) - to have a sitting by the fire.
The show featured popular artists and various personalities in the Soviet Union: udarniks, Heroes of Socialist Labor, cosmonauts, etc., who sat next to tables in a "television cafe", singing songs, playing sketches, boasting, celebrating parties. The idea of the show was to "fall in a light" to each Soviet family to share the festive table beyond the glass of television. |
Star FactoryStar Factory (Фабрика Звёзд) is a Russian music-competition TV show in which teams compete to become the new hit act in Russian pop music. The show has created such stars as Fabrika, Korni, and Polina Gagarina. It aired from 2002 to 2007 in Russia, with a triumphant return for one season in 2011. There are also versions of the show in Ukraine (five seasons between 2007 and 2011, in Russian and Ukrainian) and Moldova (one season, in Romanian and Russian).
The format of the show is as follows. After open auditions across Russia, 15 to 20 finalists are chosen, and they move into the Star House (Звёздный дом), where they are filmed around the clock. They have music, acting, and dance classes every day; they also have master classes with Russian and international show business stars. The shows airs a “Star House Diary” several times per day on TV, showing what’s been going on in the house. Once a week, the show airs its full broadcast, which consists of a concert in which the participants perform the song and dance routines they developed during the week. Several contestants are eliminated each week, and the ultimate winner gets a record contract. |

Behind the Glass (Russian: За стеклом [Za steklom]) was a "widely popular" Russian copy of the reality TV show Big Brother, first aired in 2001 by television station TV-6. Behind the Glass was the first television reality show in Russia, where six men and women between the ages of 21 and 24 living together in a glass apartment, filmed by 26 cameras. One way mirrors allowed pedestrians to see into the bedroom, living room and bathroom. Security guards protected the glass. Fans were charged 20 roubles to look in on the show. Former NTV producer Grigory Luibomirov, producer and director of the show, created the reality series.
